Reference
Plate types
- Green — solid chroma green for keying.
- Green + tracking — green plus a field of tracking markers.
- Green + tracking + scroll — scrolling marker field for motion shots (drag or auto-scroll).
- White / White + tracking — white plates, with or without markers.
- Mid gray / Mid gray + tracking — mid gray reference, with or without markers.
Picture Adjustments
In the Screen section:
- Temperature — 2700–7000 K (default 6500).
- Tint — fine green/magenta adjustment.
- Luminance — overall brightness of the plate.
Double-tap a slider’s label to reset that control.
Tracking markers
When a track mode is selected, Screen shows:
- Marker spacing, size, and opacity
- Marker shape — Cross, Dot, or Corner
On Green + tracking + scroll, drag or use the mouse wheel on the stage to move the field. Use Auto and Scroll speed when you want continuous motion.
On set: Hide the UI before you roll so the camera only sees the plate. Plates do not use cues — switch to Phone or Video when you need a timed fire.
